Wakasa Obama has a history of supporting food for the ancient Japanese imperial court by connecting
its sea and the ancient capital Kyoto and of carring seafood and cultural crafts over Saba Kaido (Mackerel Road) to the ancient capital.
By carring on the spirit of Wakasa Gastronomy and the history of Miketsukuni and Saba Kaido and serving dishes that reflect them,
we hope that as many people as possible will feel the greatness of Wakasa Obama and Satoyama.

This course meal that makes you feel a history consists of Fujiya Meal, a steamed egg custard,
one seasonal dish and a house made “Fujiya cheese cake” and a drink.

A full course meal consists of Wakasa Meal, Fukui brand beef “Wakasa Beef” grilled on earthenware utensils,
and seafood caught in Wakasa bay.

to designing menu and atmosphere in order to let as many people
as possible know the greatness of Matsunaga region and to gain smile from guests and customers.
Our chef and registered dietitian makes delicious healthy safe dishes using
locally grown vegetables and seafood wholeheartedly to make all people coming to our hotel smile.
